I usually only watch it when the tournament comes around, but I keep track by looking at the USA Today Top 25 Coaches’ Poll. I will sometimes watch when I can during the regular season.
My favorite team would have to be… Marist. A relatively okay men’s basketball team, but the women’s team has made the tournament two times in a row now. I also like Virginia, Virginia Tech, and George Mason. Pretty much any local schools.
I’m a State fan (NCSU) all the way – any sport. I know, their mens basketball team…isn’t exactly the best in the world. But think about it. They’ve had a rough time with coaches and all.
Football: Carolina fans…remember last year? 41-10? It’s comin’ at ya again.
You play any sports? I play baseball, fastpitch softball, a little volleyball, a little soccer, non-competitive basketball, and ride horses 🙂
I did get it, but not from Amazon. That song is called Terminals, right? If you’re reading this comment and wondering who Relient K is they are an awesome band. Get their CD!
I play soccer, football, and basketball, but not competitively. I do play in the local omeschool soccer league, but it is more of a camp than a league. I’m going to play flag football on Thanksgiving!
awesome! I play softball, baseball, and non-competitive soccer and basketball. Also, we play flag football or two-hand football during youth group on Wednesdays, which is a lot of fun.
…and I ride horses! Some people may not consider that a sport because “there’s not much physical activity”…just try riding in 2-point for 30 minutes or trotting without stirrups. Then go muck out some stalls. THEN try telling me that’s not exercise. As for competition, if you go to any kind of show, rivalry is strong.
Wow. I just realized that kinda sounded defensive. I promise, that’s not how I mean it 😀 I’m just explaining myself.
I do have a blog, but it’s private…wish there was some way I could send you an invite! I actually have 3 blogs…one about my trip to DC, another about my “movie co.”, and another that’s just about my life in general.
Well, if you want it to be private what you do is you send me an email, with the three links. If you want it to be public you can just put a comment up here with the three links.
Oh, I didn’t realize you can’t access that from the main page. Okay, here is what you do.
1. Post another comment with the three links
2. I will not approve it, so that only I can see it. If you want everyone to see it, say so and I’ll approve it.
3. I look at your blogs!
I use Blogger, and since my blogs are set as private, only people that I have sent an invite through Blogger to can view them. Therefore, unless I have your email address, you don’t have access to them.
Here’s an idea also, since you are moderating the comments, I can give you my email address, and then you can email me yours. It doesn’t matter though, whatever you want to do! 🙂
Oh, and here are the links, in case you know something I don’t!
I approved your comment so the general public can see it, because they can’t get there anyway, so it doesn’t matter. I can’t get it up either. Do you set who can see your blog? Why do you have it set on private viewers only?
Actually, I’ve just finished the first day in DC. I know, I procrastinate way to much. There’s just soooo many pictures and it takes forever to upload. Also, I don’t have a lot of time for blogging.
TBF Productions is put on hold for awhile, since my camera broke.
I just started the Daughter of the King one, so we’ll see how that goes. 🙂
Cool, I’m not so sure if there is going to be one for my area for my brother to take part in. It’s up in the air at the moment, but please keep me posted on your siblings!
My little brother placed 3rd, and my little sister placed 4th or 5th…she says 4th, most other people say 5th 🙂
He still has 2 more years though, and she has 3, so hopefully one of them will advance next year.
By the way, a few friends of mine started a blog that I’m now co-author of:
Cool, I like the site. So when you say you are a co-author, does this mean that you write reviews? And I forgot again, but 1 .8. 5 correlates to your 2009 spelling bee number, right?
Dude! Haven’t seen or talked to you in a while. We’ve got to figure out some way to get together. Yeah, the Patriots are out.
But they made it to the playoffs, unlike a certain black and gold team I know. 😉
I’ve heard of Family Force 5, but haven’t actually listened to their music. I sent you an email the other day, did you get it? I’ll send you another or give you a call later today or this week sometime.
(However, do you have any idea how hard it is to take a test with a 2 year old trying to scribble all over my project record books?? Which happened to be due today…haha oh well. I had to redo part of it anyway)
Wow…hard to believe it’s been around 8 months since the Bee.
Yo. Hey has anyone BESIDES me got the new TobyMac album yet!?!?!?! It be very very awesome!!!
Also I heard that the east coast has got some snow… meaning ALOT of snow… we has lots of snow here too in the midwest. It be awesome, right???
I saw on your personal page (“About Me”) that you play Settlers of Catan. I played it for the first time with my friend a couple of weeks ago and I think it’s awesome! haha 🙂
Apparently it’s drum solo week on David Letterman next week. I’m not a David Letterman fan and it’s far past my bedtime so I don’t think I’ll catch it. I wouldn’t mind having TiVo at a time like this because I would like to see the performances – especially Neil Peart who will be performing the drum solo finale of the week on Thursday, June 9th. 🙂 Maybe I’ll be able to catch it on youtube.
I thought you might be interested in catching the performance so thought I’d share the info:
Hello Santos 🙂 I don’t know if you or your dad check out musicradar.com but here’s a great interview with Neil Peart I thought you might enjoy. It has the solo from the Letterman show embedded in it although you can get that on youtube as well. You may have already caught it but links to the interview and the solo on Letterman are below.
makes wonderful sense! 😉 do you watch much college basketball? if so…what’s your favorite team?
I usually only watch it when the tournament comes around, but I keep track by looking at the USA Today Top 25 Coaches’ Poll. I will sometimes watch when I can during the regular season.
My favorite team would have to be… Marist. A relatively okay men’s basketball team, but the women’s team has made the tournament two times in a row now. I also like Virginia, Virginia Tech, and George Mason. Pretty much any local schools.
That DOES make sense. Hey what grade are you in? Can you go back to the bee next year?
I cannot go to the bee anymore. I am too old. I am going to work with my younger brother, however.
Ya I guess I could have looked at my bee keeper to figure that out. Oh well. 🙂
hey I feel like saying hi… do you follow college football?
I follow some local teams and I check the polls every once in a while, but I’d rather watch the NFL.
I’m a State fan (NCSU) all the way – any sport. I know, their mens basketball team…isn’t exactly the best in the world. But think about it. They’ve had a rough time with coaches and all.

You play any sports? I play baseball, fastpitch softball, a little volleyball, a little soccer, non-competitive basketball, and ride horses 🙂
Oh, and I forgot to mention in my last comment….college football is waaay better than NFL 😀
hey just wondering if you have the new Relient K album….if you dont get it from amazon because it comes with a extra song thats AWESOME.
the steelers fan[who watches fetch]
I did get it, but not from Amazon. That song is called Terminals, right? If you’re reading this comment and wondering who Relient K is they are an awesome band. Get their CD!
the patriots fan [who watches fetch]
dude the song ids AWESOME
Wow. It seems like forever since the Bee! Also, it’s been awhile since I’ve checked back on your site…
Anyway, I was just going to say hey!
Also…do you play any sports? Or just keep up with the worlds? 😀
I play soccer, football, and basketball, but not competitively. I do play in the local omeschool soccer league, but it is more of a camp than a league. I’m going to play flag football on Thanksgiving!

Maybe you should get a blog yourself so you can defend horse riding as a sport! It’s worth a shot!
There’s an idea! 🙂

Yes, as I said before, only people that I have emailed invites to can view my blog.
That’s the only way my parents would allow me to get one. Or three. 🙂
I looked at all your blogs. They are very nice all around. Obviously, the Bee blog is done, so you’re only working on the other two, right?
cool!
Actually, I’ve just finished the first day in DC. I know, I procrastinate way to much. There’s just soooo many pictures and it takes forever to upload. Also, I don’t have a lot of time for blogging.

I love the snow! That’s so cool!
It’s not me. It’s a feature that wordpress uses every christmas. Isn’t it cool?
Happy New Years, thisoldsoul! 🙂
The homeschool bee is tomorrow, so we’ll see how it goes with my little brother and sister…I’ll let you know!
Cool, I’m not so sure if there is going to be one for my area for my brother to take part in. It’s up in the air at the moment, but please keep me posted on your siblings!

Woops, I hit the wrong button.
The site address is as follows:
reviewersbookshelf.blogspot.com
sorry about the pats man.. so i was wondering do you like family force 5
Cool, I like the site. So when you say you are a co-author, does this mean that you write reviews? And I forgot again, but 1 .8. 5 correlates to your 2009 spelling bee number, right?

Yep, I write reviews
haha that’s okay 😉 You’re right, 185 is my 2009 SNSB number.
Well I better get back to studying – big algebra test coming up…
Yeah! I think your parents would rather have you study than look at my blog, but I don’t mind!
It’s all good…I passed 😛
(However, do you have any idea how hard it is to take a test with a 2 year old trying to scribble all over my project record books?? Which happened to be due today…haha oh well. I had to redo part of it anyway)
Wow…hard to believe it’s been around 8 months since the Bee.
Yeah, it has been 8 months. Hard to believe how time flies. What are project record books?

Who Dat?….. Saints!!!!!!!!!!
Yeah, Who is Dat? Oh my…… the SAINTS!!!!!!
Yo. Hey has anyone BESIDES me got the new TobyMac album yet!?!?!?! It be very very awesome!!!
Also I heard that the east coast has got some snow… meaning ALOT of snow… we has lots of snow here too in the midwest. It be awesome, right???
Cool idea for the Commenting Page. I like the story you are posting and how you talk about sports a lot. IM A SPELLER!
Guess what? I won the South Dakota state spelling bee again, so I’m going to Nationals for the SECOND STRAIGHT YEAR! Awesome, huh?
Congratulations! The Bee is a lot more fun your second time around! I wish you the best of luck!
Love the new look!
Love the game of the week. I suggest either flash element td, or disputed galaxy for next week.
Hey, what about another game of the week, come on. it’s been a while
I have not had time to do a GotW, although you have given me an idea.
Hey! I haven’t been on the website in a while. I like the redesign and the “Overheard” comics a lot. Keep up the good work!
I saw on your personal page (“About Me”) that you play Settlers of Catan. I played it for the first time with my friend a couple of weeks ago and I think it’s awesome! haha 🙂

PS – There is a link for catching Letterman shows after the fact so if it is not convenient to watch next week, you can still watch later.

🙂
Yes, Settlers is one of my favorite boardgames. Isn’t it great? There is so much possibility with each game, it’s never the same thing twice.
Ah! Drum solos! I will be looking at this more in depth!
Hello Santos 🙂 I don’t know if you or your dad check out musicradar.com but here’s a great interview with Neil Peart I thought you might enjoy. The man is an octopus! 🙂
Well, if we’re talking drum solos, then this one is the favourite in the Lovegrove household 😉
Hope the soccer tournament went well today 🙂
Thank you all the for the drum solo videos! Unfortunately, we lost our game in the tournament today. Better luck next season!
